The Chemistry laboratory has the state-of-the-art facilities for the dissemination of introductory concepts in Chemistry, namely Physical, Inorganic, Organic, and Analytical Chemistry, to the students pursuing the MS program in our Institute.

In this regard, the chemistry laboratory is equipped with advanced rotary evaporators (Model Büchi V-201), melting point apparatus, ice flaking machine, digital weighing balances, pH-meters, conductometers, vacuum pumps, water-distillation assembly, and fume-hood to carry out modern experiments. Furthermore, the laboratory has basic instrumentation facilities polarograph, polarimeter, UV-Visible, and IR-spectrophotometers. It is envisaged that experiments, utilizing the above mentioned facilities have been designed with the purpose of making a student have an appreciation of the fundamental principles and contemporary knowledge in Chemistry.
